If you go down to the beach today...

..do try not to break the rules

I was at the family Christmas in Norfolk and when the drumkit, ipods and mario cart music got too much I decided to wander down to the beach with the camera. Look at what confronted me.

I know why the Environment Angency felt the need to do it. It's because if someone gets damaged they are going to sue. Or at least their insurance company will. That's how it works.

But is it just me or is this just a bit over the top? One sign saying:

Be careful, if there's any damage to yourselves or your children or your property, tough - live with it or sod off home to your cotton wool lined room now. If you damage anyone else with a vehicle plod will be here to lock you up before you can say Jet Ski.

Needless to say I climbed on the groynes and the rocks, unfortunately I didn't have a bicycle with me so I couldn't ride it and I had no children that I could lose let run around out of my control. Because I can assess my own risks.

I think we might see what the Environment Agency have to say about it..
